Chad Norris

Owner & Lead Designer

As an Arizona native growing up in the landscape industry, Chad has honed his skills and created an artistic landscape approach that provides stunning designs and earned many awards, including the Phoenix Home & Garden Magazine2017 Master of the Southwest award, Luxe Interiors + Design Magazine Gold List Award – 4 years in a row, and Sources for DesignDesign Icon Landscape award winner. Using the home’s exterior landscape as the canvas, Chad creates impactful, luxury outdoor environments showcasing unique “living art” plant combinations, along with functional designs to relax and entertain. He is driven to create an experience for his clients that exceeds expectations. Leaving his imprint and improving a client’s quality of life in their own home. He absolutely loves the creative process, that is, High Desert Designs!

Bahia Norris

Bahia has always been an entrepreneur. Her previous endeavors include both real estate and opening her own hair salon. Her solid work ethic is key to the success of both Accounting and Human Resources. She has strong employee relations and helps to drive policies and decisions both in the field and in the office. She genuinely loves helping others! In her free time, Bahia enjoys long runs, especially on the beach, and spending time watching her kiddos excel in both volleyball and football.

Francisco Mendoza

Landscape Manager

Francisco has been in the landscape industry since 2002 and has been with HDD since we started in 2020. As a Supervisor for our landscape installations, he helps coordinate the procurement and scheduled use of resources such as labor, equipment, and plant material to ensure maximum use and completion of work within budget, safety guidelines, and quality standards. Brian Norris has been in the landscape business for over 40 years. Starting out as a family business, Brian carried on the business, taking over the company in the early 80s. His commitment to detail and knowledge of Arizona's hardy landscapes and sprinkler systems has propelled him into the industry as a successful business owner. Read More
